BabyNet:

BabyNet is South Carolina’s interagency early intervention system for infants and toddlers under three years of age with developmental delays, or who have conditions associated with developmental delays.

Department of Disabilities & Special Needs (DDSN):

SCDDSN is the state agency that plans, develops, oversees and funds services for South Carolinians with severe, lifelong disabilities of intellectual disability, autism, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury and conditions related to each of these four disabilities. Early Interventionists provide Family Training and Service Coordination to families in accordance with an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) for children birth to 3 or a Family Service Plan (FSP) for children 3 to 6 years of age.

Family Connections of SC:

Family Connection of South Carolina is a statewide nonprofit organization that connects families of children with special healthcare needs or disabilities with helpful resources, support and education.

DHHS/Medicaid:

Healthy Connection is South Carolina’s Medicaid program. It is a medical assistance program that helps pay for some or all medical bills for many people who cannot afford medical care.

SSI Benefits:

The Supplement Security Income(SSI) program pays benefits to disabled adults and children who have limited income and resources.

Protection and Advocacy for people with disabilities provides a variety of services to include information & referrals, training, abuse & neglect investigation, legal representation, and advocacy for change.
